Life on the Farm

Antiques are starting on the farm!! Jewel, Purple, Blue, and White antique colors have started. This past weekend was an absolute blast. I visited Bend, Oregon but jumped from spot to spot. On Friday, I did the Tumalo Falls 6.8-mile hike with a stunning waterfall followed by two smaller waterfalls. That same day I visited Steelhead Falls, a fabulous swimming hole. Saturday, I did a 9-mile hike at lava lake trailhead. This consisted of Pacific Crest Trail and the North Matthieu Lake Trail. Saturday’s hike included two beautiful lakes and not passing a single person the entire 9 miles! I was shocked. The photo I have inserted is from the beginning of the trailhead. The weather was perfect all weekend, and it was a great camping getaway. Except for one camping spot, our tent almost blew away… thankfully we had stakes (we put three in each corner because it was so strong). However, that adds to the fun memories when looking back. The bouquet I made today has a white weed flower I found and a dill I found in the garden. My favorite part is finding pretty things, even if they are not a flower I planted.
